Host your event at sea

You bring the guests, and if you need more of them, we can help with that too. EventSeas takes care of the ship, the route, the cabins and the thousand small things in between.

From idea to on the ship

  1. 1

    Share your idea

Fill in the short form below. Rough is fine: a name, a size, a season.

  2. 2

    Plan it with us

We talk through your goals, guest count, budget and dates, then match you with the right ship, route and dates for your group.

  3. 3

    We handle the details

Contracts, cabins, pricing, onboard venues, entertainment and food, planned around what you want guests to feel.

  4. 4

    Launch and set sail

Your event page goes live with ticketing, and marketing support if you want it. We coordinate onboard so you can host, not troubleshoot.

What will you host?

Every kind of gathering is better with a horizon. These are the ones we hear about most, and “other” is always welcome.

Why host at sea

  • A captive, distraction-free audience

Everyone is in the same place, at the same time, with nowhere else to be.

  • Venue, lodging, meals and entertainment in one booking

One plan covers the places to gather, sleep and eat, instead of five contracts.

  • Several destinations in one trip

Wake up somewhere new without packing a bag, so the trip itself becomes part of the program.

  • Built-in venues

Theaters, lounges, pool decks and quiet corners that are already there and already staffed.

  • Experiences people talk about

Memorable, shareable moments are what bring guests back and bring their friends.

  • Often good value per guest

When lodging, venue, food and entertainment are bundled, the total can compare well with a land-based event. We will show you real numbers for your dates.

Questions, Answered

The short version of how hosting an event at sea works.

How far in advance should I plan?

The earlier the better. A small yacht buyout can come together in a few months. A full-ship charter usually needs a year or more. Tell us your dates and we will tell you what is realistic.

How many guests do I need?

It depends on the vessel. A small yacht can be right for a dozen guests, while larger ships suit larger groups. We will match the size of the ship to the size of your group.

Do I need to fill the whole ship?

No. You can buy out a smaller vessel, or reserve a block of cabins on a ship that sails with other guests, and your people join your program.

Who pays for cabins?

Usually each guest books and pays for their own cabin through a group link or code, which we set up. Some hosts, such as incentive trips, prepay for their guests instead. We will work out which suits you.

Can you help sell tickets?

Yes. Your event gets its own page on EventSeas with ticketing, and we can help with marketing if you would like extra reach.

What does it cost to work with EventSeas?

Sending an inquiry is free, and so is listing an event. If we plan with you, we agree the terms in writing before anything is booked. Selling tickets through EventSeas costs 99 cents per paid ticket plus the card processing fee.

Can I host on a river cruise or a yacht instead?

Yes. Ocean ships are only one option. River cruises, yachts, catamarans and tall ships all work for the right group.
